The Moon is a fast moving planet in our solar system and it guides our feelings, desires, emotions and the things that happens within us. The Moon has a feminine quality and it is multifaceted. It represent our Mother and our relationship with her.
The New Moon represents a time when we set our intentions to bringing something new into our lives and at the Full Moon we release what no longer serves us. The area in life the New Moon and Full Moon resides and the sign they fall into changes every month and is an indication of the area in life that we should pay attention to.
Hello and welcome to My Soul’s Talk January 2026. Wow, we have moved into another year of excitement, truths being exposed, and remembrance. This month starts out with a Super Wolf Full Moon @13 degrees of Cancer on the 3rd and A Full Moon @28 Capricorn on the 18th.
January 3rd Full Moon
Cancer @ 13 degrees represents the Divine feminine energy that has been suppressed within humanity. It’s called kundalini. Cancer is ruled by the Moon and is the sign of family, the mother principle, home, nurturing, your gut instincts, emotional security and your intuition. Jupiter, the great benefic, represents growth, abundance, luck, wisdom and expansion is also in Cancer. Wherever Jupiter sits or transit in a chart, it expands the meaning in that area of life and in Cancer, our emotional state of being is more intense because of Jupiter expansive nature. Oh, and let’s not forget this is a Super Full Moon and yes for some, you may feel more high strung during this period. However, this is a time for emotional release. This lunation highlights the need to balance your drive with your heart’s desires, ensuring your actions align with your true feelings.
January 18 New Moon
Capricorn @28 degrees represent serious and practical intentions as we start anew. This energy is cardinal and thinks big, such as making business plans, career moves or life structure changes. This energy wants to build long-term solid foundations for future success. So, discipline and patience are the requirements. This is also a good time to reflect on the past year’s lessons and restructuring your life for this New Year.
The Full Moon and New Moon can arrive in any of the twelve houses, and that is where the magic happens. These are the areas of emotional growth for each of us, but you must tap in and ride the wave each and every month as a participant. You can make a conscious effort to access your emotional intelligence or not, hahahahaha! What houses will be activated for your Soul’s Journey?
